Design Museum Ventura winners 2011- us!

Sorry I posted this too late, sorry again!
So my team won out of our school to enter the National Design Ventura competition, our task to create a product suitable for selling in the Design Museum shop, and aimed at the age group 14-26.
Our product was dove bunting. I worked in a team with Miranda, Katie and Jodie (check out miranda's blog!)


Basically now we get to actually professionally make our product, to be sold in the Design Museum shop, online and at the Design Musuem, Summer 2011. We get to go in and develop our design even further so it is absolutly perfect to sell. We will go to the factory and watch the manafacuring process, and get to see the phases, as well as be really involved. We do hope they don't change our design too much, but as we are so involved we get choice over it. Im really looking fowards to it and I hope you check it out! By the way we are only 13 and 14!

    Thank you everyone! More good news, today our team went to the DM and met up with the designers and mentory shop people and got a free but worth alot yummy lunch, free samples and stuff, as well as getting closer to our final product that should be launched after the summer holidays. Also, they are going to set up a blog about our product, progress etc to show how we got from an idea and like 200 schools to a finished product being sold in the shop! Will give link when it is made and stuff.
